A great day to fly a kite

It is crazy windy here in Sequim today, but not raining, so we took advantage of it and broke out the kite that Ryan bought at Costco awhile back. Unbeknownst to us, Kendall was more into it than Payton was. At one point we were so into getting the kite to fly that we didn’t realize Payton was gone until we saw him drive by in his go-kart. Whatever works!

To say Kendall has been challenging would be an understatement. It started with her being sick, and then things got a bit better, but mainly she is just starting to pitch a fit every time we try to put her down to sleep or if she doesn’t get what she wants. She prefers being held most of the time and isn’t at all interesting in walking. The constant whining is wearing on me a bit but I just keep trying to remember that we’ve been through this with P before and it’s a phase that’ll pass. I SURE HOPE SO! That being said though, she’s a funny little girl and I can get her to smile or giggle by putting her upside down, giving her a bath, or playing music. We’ve been doing a LOT of these three things this past week!
